Power Protein Smoothie

It's no secret that I LOVE starting my day off with a smoothie and experimenting with different flavour combinations. Whether it's a refreshing green smoothie, or something more chocolatey and decadent, I change it up almost every day to make sure I get a variety of nutrients into my body and to keep things interesting.

On days when I plan an intense AM workout or have a busy morning and need something that will keep me satiated until lunch, this smoothie is my go to recipe. It's become one of my signature smoothies and a favourite amongst my clients. it's very high in fiber and protein so you can be sure you won't be hangry come lunch time.

Power Protein Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 c almond milk
  • 1 scoop protein (your choice)
  • 1 tbsp flax seed
  • 1 tbsp chia seed
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of sea salt

Add all of the ingredients into a blender and pour into your favourite glass. Top with coconut, hemp seeds, homemade granola, or some nuts and seeds.
